For the next couple of weeks I am going to be writing a series on tips for calming your pets. Today will be calming down an angry cat. I am excited to share these tidbits of information from my years of experience as a dog walker, pet sitter, dog trainer and now utilizing animal reiki. I hope that you will find this information helpful in improving the quality of life for BOTH you and your pets.
I have been asked by people how I implement Animal Reiki into my dog walking visits or even with my own dogs almost on a daily basis. For me, when I use and implement animal reiki, it is a stillness and quietness that is required when the animal needs the other party to be calm.
When working with animals, the energy that is brought in to the situation is one of the most important tools any person can understand and utilize. In my career in working with animals, from dog walking to dog training, even fostering and owning my own dogs. Paying attention to your energy is valuable and essential. Animals are extremely intuitive on energy and human movements.
Olly is a dog I took care of who was incredibly skittish of strangers, barked a lot. His owner was nervous to have people over. Towards the end he was a lovebug, always a love bug with me.
